In this study, we analyzed the motivational factors behind Indian women entering the particular stage of entrepreneurship life cycle, choices they make in terms of sector as well as form of enterprise and the surrounding ecosystems which influence them. One of the important aspects covered under this study which hasn't been mentioned enough in the present literature, is the potential of aspiring women entrepreneurs. The research methodology adopted for the purpose of this paper is secondary as well as primary (will be presented). The sources for the secondary research are recorded interviews (TV, print and online) of different stake holders in the overall entrepreneurial ecosystem for women and experiences shared by these stakeholders over blogs along with the previous work done by scholars and researchers. The outcome of this research is recommendatory in in the form of a framework for encouraging Indian women entrepreneurs at various stages of the entrepreneurship life cycle.
