Tenth Biennial Conference on EntrepreneurshipSummary: The premise of the study is to measure entrepreneurial self-efficacy and its impact on the entrepreneurial intention and actions, of a varied class of educated youth. The base model of entrepreneurial intention - a resultant of the theory of planned behaviour and the theory of reasoned action - is used to draw the difference between the entrepreneurial spirit and non-entrepreneurial spirit otherwise classified as managerial skills of the targeted respondents. The differences in entrepreneurial self-efficacy of the two groups are studied in relation with demographical characteristics, skill set and psychological differences of the respondents. The result of the study justified that the theory of reasoned action and planned behaviour are proven wrong, in this context.
