N2  - This study investigated four dimensions of a process model along with work rumination for the formulation of work passion. Questionnaires were administered to a sample of corporate professionals belonging to different industries in order to validate the passion scale. Structural equation modelling analyses indicated that the  three-factor structure of employee passion shows the best fit model in comparison to four-factor models. The best fit model confirms the dualistic structure of passion as proposed by Vallerand et al. (2003)
