The need of the hour is sustainable rural development to balance the growth equally. The sustainability in rural areas can only be ensured when the strategic intervention of rural entrepreneurship is accelerated. Rural development is directly related to rural entrepreneurship. To all the rural development stakeholders, rural entrepreneurship stands as a medium to improve the quality of life of rural communities and leading them towards a sustainable economy and environment. The rural entrepreneurship if promoted well will be the central force of economic growth and development of the rural areas. For rural development and the advancement of rural enterprises the environment enabling entrepreneurship in rural areas is very necessary. The existence of such an environment largely depends on policies promoting rural entrepreneurship. The drivers of the future growth will be rural entrepreneurs who stay in the rural areas and contribute to the creation of local wealth by the means of rural enterprises.
