Non cognitive i.e. emotional aspect of personality is getting extreme importance to be successful in life. Emotional aspects precede cognitive functions and facilitate an individual to grow from good one to great. Entrepreneurs sway between risks, uncertainties, difficulties, challenges & disturbances. In such situations judicious utilization of emotions can do wonders. An effective and sound decision making is the outcome of outstanding emotional intelligence (EI). EI has been studied and researched. It has been found in different studies that EI enhance leadership qualities enabling an individual to turn dreams into realities. This paper is based on the study to assess and compare the emotional intelligence of women entrepreneurs from the service sector. The paper is based on the empirical study of 90 women entrepreneurs; 30 from each sub-sector viz. clinic and diagnostic centers, beauty parlors, slimming centers, training institutes and hobby classes.
