<br/><br/> The paper is aimed to find out the status of Prime Ministers Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), a scheme launched by Govt. of India for promoting self-employment with special reference to Jammu & Kashmir. A sample of 102 beneficiaries whose projects have been financed under this scheme were identified for this study.
