This paper suggests that what is required is neither a 'reinvention of the wheel' in each cultural context, nor the blind transference of training programmes rooted in Western culture, but a research-based adaptation of such programmes to suit culture - specific requirements. This would service to rapidly and effectively professionalize enterprise training.
