Eighth Biennial Conference on Contemporary Issues in Entrepr ResearchSummary: The rural areas in developing countries need a high degree of awareness to make profit using green products regardless of the ethical stance of the entrepreneurs, commonly known as ecopreneurship. Ecopreneurs can have both, profit and societal goals, but their main strategy should strive to minimize resource use, pollution, and the overall ecological footprint of the business enterprise. The paper is guided by the ecological values and raising environmental awareness of the ecopreneurs, one of the most important issues in the world, through design, production, and marketing of their green products. In rural India the main challenges are organic agriculture, sanitation engineering, arsenic free water and environmental awareness development. By creating more ecopreneurs, we can get rid of the roots of the problem in remote rural area. Ecological business strategy promises to transform in thinking toward quality of life and environmental protection as equally important development goals. We need to form a non-profitable organization to campaign and tie up with a larger entrepreneurship programs, to construct awareness about the small businesses which can be major job creators at...
