After reviewing some of the business practices of women across the world, two case studies are presented, based on the experiences of two women - one an eminent entrepreneur whose work was based on Gandhian principles - Dr. Ela Bhatt and the other a successful young entrepreneur from Gwalior - Ms. Tina Olyai, who built a reputed higher secondary CBSE school with struggles and challenges, motivated by her love for children. The studies indicate that education and family support play a vital role in women's progress in their entrepreneurial efforts, consistent with the report of the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India.
