It is said that Wo-man is the best man for overall development of the country, yet total share of women entrepreneur is very less in India [(8%), Maharashtra (14%)]. As female can accept the challenges of corporate sector and mitigate them very well and play a positive role in overall development of the region. North Maharashtra has proved the positive role of female entrepreneurs in the development e.g. Deepak Industries. The data on entrepreneurship, reveals that female entrepreneurs have created maximum employment opportunities, increased GDP, PCI and standard of living. We can motivate of females towards entrepreneurship through Business Schools, Street plays, NGO's, DIC's and various Government Development Programmes in the region.
