dc.description.abstract | Conceptually, cooperative enterprise is collective economic activity base organization. Such organization runs by the people, for the people and of the people. But, success of this organization depends on the effective leadership of an individual member who work actively on behalf of organization a try to achieve the common goals. As an entrepreneur, the leader courage to take initiation and calculative risk to grow an enterprise. His or her attitude, behaviour, positive & hopeful thinking and hardworking play significant role to ensure success. Sustainable entrepreneurship or livelihood consists such acts that support to wellness of human being in the society without harm the natural wealth as well as without compromising the interest of future generation. The determination of nature and volume of an enterprise is an important factor towards sustainable livelihood. It has close concern with the rate of utilization of natural resources, livelihood interests (opportunity to use the skills) of others and decentralization of economic power. In this regard, ‘Peculation theory of development’ in present world should replace with the theory of ‘Sarvodaya’ that start from ‘Antodya’ to set the sustainable entrepreneurial practices. We must understand that “Livelihood is for life, but life is not for livelihood.” Life means happiness, peace of mind and prosperity of society. In this direction, Gandhiji advocates the concept of ‘Swadeshi’ to bring self-sufficiency, self-reliant and decentralization of local economy which are relevant in present situation. We should give place the theory “No Mass Production but production by mass” to design the plan of the sustainable entrepreneurship. No artificial demand should create in the greed of profit or to satisfy the sky-limit unending ambition because it will be harmful to nature as well as human’s physical and socio-economic health. These are prime considerable factor towards sustainable entrepreneurship. The present study is based on above concept. It focuses on ethical & Sustainable entrepreneurial practices which are carried out by a tribal entrepreneur Shri Hasmukhbhai under cooperative structure. His ethical entrepreneurial practice, innovative ideas, calculative risk base courage, his strategic clear vision and root level thinking to understand and solve the local problem and positive approach has assured milestone progress of this cooperative enterprise in sustainable manner. His techno- managerial wisdom has key place in its success. It is an effort to analysis and understands ethical and sustainable entrepreneurial practices to learn lesson from so called backward person. | en_US |
