Abstract: According to various entrepreneurial intention theories, entrepreneurial attitudes and perceptions are antecedents to intention. In order to study this progression, a comparison was made between the calculated ranking of the indicators of attitudes and perceptions of GEM Asia Pacific countries and their respective Entrepreneurial Intention score by applying TOPSIS technique. It was found that according to GEM analysis, not all countries show intent to become entrepreneurs irrespective of individuals having the desired attitude. This calls for a need to add more items to the adult population survey conducted by GEM to get a deeper insight into the entrepreneurial intent formation of individuals.
