Abstract: | Tourism has always been considered as a force for the economic revitalization/development of the rural areas and the growth of tourism destinations (Vidic, 2012). However it has been observed that in the current scenario of the fast growing demand of the tourism market, the combination of the entrepreneurship and the rural tourism presents a great potentials in supporting the rural economy and the development of the rural destinations. In the recent past Aurangabad district has witnessed the major shift in the development and the growth of the rural tourism (Upadhye, 2015). The main purpose and the aim of this paper is to understand the current scenario of the rural entrepreneurship development, identifying the attitudes, perspective and the preferences of the entrepreneurs in the Khultabad area, which is very close to the UNESCO Heritage site i.e. Ellora Caves by taking three Rural resorts, i.e. Hiranaya Resort, Tinus Resort and Fort view resort as a case which is around 5-7 km away from the Ellora caves. |
