Abstract: | Motivation is an important research area for academics and also for managers because that affects human performance behavior. In literature, many researchers on motivational factors for entrepreneurs have been developed. In developed economy, entrepreneurs are motivated to start their own business. This study investigates motivational factors which motivated women have to become a successful entrepreneur. Sample size is 70 and the empirical results revealed that most of the selected entrepreneurs perceived the relevance of these factors which motivate the entrepreneurs to the highest degree. The study depend on twelve motivational items and the findings indicated that provide greater comfort to family has been regarded as the most important motives for establishing entrepreneurial projects, while establishing business projects for pleasant work has been considered as one of the least motives, occupying the last position. |
