Abstract: Women entrepreneurs play an essential role in today's competitive world, and they are an integral part of a country's economy. This paper presents a systematic review of women entrepreneurship literature using bibliometric analysis tools. For this study, we extracted data from the Scopus database between 1984 to 2021 and found 2111 articles are indexed. The PRISM framework has been implemented for inclusion and exclusion; we have considered 1923 articles for this analysis. To perform bibliometric analysis – the biblioshiny tool, VOSviewer, Excel have been used. This paper applied different bibliometric tools, i.e., Citation co-citation analysis, co-author, and co-word analysis, to develop insights on literature growth and journey. Researchers found that the annual scientific production rate is 3.19%. It has also observed rapid growth during 2005-06 with 70.833%. Literature has been clustered into three parts (1) Women's status, empowerment, (2) Women's Status, developing countries, and (3) entrepreneurial identity. After systematically analyzing the articles, the study found that "Decision making" comes under Niche and emerging themes, and "economic development" is coming under driving force. This paper provides a further reference to academicians, researchers, and policymakers.
