Abstract: One cannot deny the fact that creativity demands courage and all artists have it well within their heart because the object of the art has never been to reproduce reality but to create a reality of the same intensity. There can never be any obstacles to stop the mind or the heart to prevent from expressing the ultimate passion. It could be said things with colour and shapes become alive and pleasing to the eyes when effortlessly brought out, be it on paper or cloth. There are such women from the state of Jharkhand, in the city Jamshedpur who work in the organisation of tribal workshop to enhance their art from home to the global market. They have been very passionate about the art form of Madhubani art and stitching that embroiders a blank sheet into a wonderful presentable art. Its well known around that art, not only depicts the social structure but also the cultural identity of the land with its depictions on themes of religion, love and fertility. The art form, ‘Madhubani Paintings’ are being a popular art of the Mithila region that expresses the creativity and sensitivity of its people. It’s been noted that often there has been the Brahmin and Kayastha women who often did such paintings but later women from the lower castes and Dalit sections were also practising the art from within their socio-cultural perimeters. There are many small scale and large scale industries and other non-government organisations that are in recent times initiated to developed such art and artists. The article here shall be a small approach to showcase one such artist who has begun to move beyond the grassroots towards the global scenario with the motive to empower women as entrepreneur.
