Abstract: | Micro small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have been accepted as the engine of economic growth and for promoting equitable development. The potential growth and importance of the MSMEs are, without a doubt, critical to the Nation. Therefore, the need for tapping this potential is a wider issue in the overall development agenda of India. In this context, the Mega International Summit aspires to contribute to making Indian MSMEs match the global standards. The International Summit, organised by EDII in association with the Ministry of MSME (IC Section), aims to contribute in building an ATMANIRBHAR BHARAT through the development of MSMEs as crucial engines for the country's self-reliant economic growth. The Mega International Summit is sponsored by the Ministry of MSME (IC Section). The objective of the Summit is to: 1. Brainstorm on the MSME sector's challenges and explore new growth opportunities, 2. Promote "Vocal for Local- Building Atmanirbhar Bharat", 3. Deliberate on how to leverage ICT for boosting business, 4. Discuss economic growth in the post COVID world, 5. Debate Policy incentives and enablers for sustained growth, 6. Infuse competitiveness among MSMEs to sustain and grow global. |
