Entrepreneurs perform a significant part in driving a nation’s economic growth and societal development. They motivate people to dream big and push the boundary of advancement. They initiate change in how we work and live for the better (Johnsson, 2018). And most importantly, they create jobs and fortune for the nation(Abhyankar, 2014). Entrepreneurs pull the process of economic development through effective use of resources, manpower, and finance. Entrepreneurship has also contributed significantly to satisfying the need for achievement of individuals (Van Gelderen et al., 2015). Entrepreneurship is the outcome of the interplay between individual attributes and the surrounding culture and system(Kibler, 2014). The term culture was well-defined as “the values, beliefs, and assumptions learned in early childhood that distinguish one group of people from another”(Newman & Nollen, 2003). Entrepreneurial culture can be described as an environment where someone is motivated to innovate, create and take risks. Strong entrepreneurship culture represents nations having persons with previous knowledge in business and social role acceptance of entrepreneurship, in which role models would affect the degree of entrepreneurship activity in the country.(Capelleras et al., 2018). A weak and inefficient entrepreneurship culture can be a substantial barrier to entrepreneurial growth in a specific country (Paiva & Tadeu, 2015). It further supported the view by suggesting that the economic development of a nation demands a long-term investment in entrepreneurship to create an entrepreneurship culture among youths (Jabeen et al., 2017). Entrepreneurship activities of the youth or students depend upon the institution’s entrepreneurial culture. There is always a strategic relationship between academics, students, and various activities of the institution to alter and develop youth’s entrepreneurial intention (Al-Lawati et al., 2022).en_US
