Abstract: Higher Educational Institutions play an important role in developing the Entrepreneurial behaviour of students. Researchers have found that Educational Institutions and faculty involved in Entrepreneurial activity plays an important role in developing Entrepreneurial mind-set among students through innovative programs and research-oriented cultures. The Entrepreneurship Education has the potential to change the Entrepreneurial mind-set of students. The importance of developing Entrepreneurial mind-set of students at younger age for acquiring Entrepreneurial experiences, skills, and abilities was stressed by (Jung & Lee, 2020). Kouakou et al. (2019). This study examines the role of Entrepreneurial Intention (Orientation) of faculty working in higher education institutions for developing Entrepreneurial Min-Set of the students. The study is conducted on a sample of respondents belonging to few universities in Uttar Pradesh. The initial results indicate that Entrepreneurial Orientation of the faculty has a significant influence in developing Entrepreneurial Mind-Set of students. The study contributes to the existing body of literature related to Entrepreneurship Orientation and the concept of Entrepreneurial Mind-Set. The aim of the research is to measure the Entrepreneurial Orientation of teachers exhibited through attributes such as Innovativeness, Pro-activeness and Risk taking and how these attributes contributes in the development of Entrepreneurial Mind-set of students. The research is focused on a population of 29 UGC approved private universities in Uttar Pradesh. A self-administered questionnaire is used to collect data from a sample of 250 teachers working in different department across various private universities in Uttar Pradesh selected through stratified random sampling method. Collected data were analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The results of initial study concluded that Entrepreneurial Orientation of teachers has a significant impact in nurturing the Entrepreneurial Mind-set of students in Higher Education Institutions.
