Abstract: Schools play a crucial role in shaping students' mindsets and preparing them for their future careers. Entrepreneurship education at the school level prepares students to thrive in a rapidly changing world and become proactive agents of change. Entrepreneurship education Fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity, encouraging students to take risks, develop resilience, become financially literate, and develop social responsibility. In this context, it is essential that school educators are empowered to instill the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship in students, enabling them to develop entrepreneurial skills. With over 40 years of experience and expertise in entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) undertakes the responsibility of cultivating and nurturing a cadre of educators and trainers across the nation. These educators, equipped with EDII's knowledge and guidance, will play a pivotal role in educating the youth of the country in the domains of innovation and entrepreneurship. Sculpting around the vision and mandate of EDII, the School Teacher Development Programme in Entrepreneurship Mentoring is specifically designed to empower school educators with the tools and knowledge necessary to instill the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship in their students, ensuring a resilient and tenacious future generation.
