Abstract: India is already the 5th largest economy in the world and is aiming to become a developed nation in the near future. In the process of growth, entrepreneurial development has a significant role to play. Here is an attempt to understand the path of entrepreneurial development in India from the period 2000 to 2024 by reviewing the various literature published in different noted journals. To better understand this, the researchers subdivided the time into two halves, i.e. 2000 - 2010 and 2010 - 2024, and accumulated available literature for the study and also tried to find out the comparative scenario of the two periods and their existing gap. Around 50 noted literatures are scrutinized and discussion is made as reflected in the inve stigated literature. Primarily, the study has highlighted that from the period 2000 - 2010, entrepreneurship in India has been mainly shaped by liberalization and privatization with meager amount of technological institutional arrangements. On the other hand , in the period 2010 - 2024 there were found to be supportable govt.
