dc.description.abstractThe study attempts to conduct a general analysis of all those factors present in the environment which influences a MBA to move towards the entrepreneurship as a career choice. Today’s management graduates are tomorrow’s potential entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship seen as a solution to the ever-growing problem of unemployment among graduates. The study includes 100 students of private university , primary data collected through a survey by using a structured questionnaire. Questions were asked about Gender, Parents Occupation, Specialization, and Other crucial factors. Statistical methods used are Factor Analysis, ANOVA test etc.; data are measured on the five points Rating Likert scale. It has been found that family background or parent’s occupation is highly influential and responsible for the student’s perception towards the entrepreneurship.An application of factor analysis on the different variables use tomeasure students’ perception reduced 12 variables into three broad categories which are- 1) Clarity of purpose, 2) Ruthless leverage and Confidence, 3) Risk and Exposure.en_US
