Abstract

This paper emphasizes the importance of rural entrepreneurship and rural development; and its subsequent impact on the socio-economic development of the country. This paper lists down various agencies, schemes and benefits offered to various industries in rural area. Role of various development agencies, non-government organizations and government is discussed for fostering rural entrepreneurship. The paper is built around the importance of rural entrepreneurship for building a nation and society for socio-economic development of the nation.
