Abstract: Organic agriculture is an ecological production management system that promotes and enhances bio-diversity, biological cycles and soil biological activity. It is based on minimum use of off-farm inputs that maintain ecological hormony. Organic food handlers, processors and retailers adhere to standards that maintain the integrity of organic agriculture products. The goal of organic agriculture is to optimize the health & productivity of interdependent communities of soil light, plants, animals & people.
