Intention and competencies are ubiquitously acknowledged as important prognostic factors for venture establishment and growth. However, integration of the two concepts, from educational prospective has rarely been discussed in social entrepreneurship literature. This paper aims at contributing to the field of social entrepreneurship by proposing a conceptual model for social entrepreneurship education aimed at developing the intention and competencies that lead to the establishment and growth of a social venture. The research article starts with a review of existing literature in the field of entrepreneurship education, behavioral intention and competencies in reference to its use in the context of social entrepreneurship. The authors then propose a model for social entrepreneurship education in which different pedagogical techniques/ tool sand curriculum content for developing behavioral intention and competencies has been discussed. The paper provides a useful source of information for educators and researchers in relation to pedagogical techniques/tools and curriculum content by the virtue of theoretical unfolding and discussions. The value of the model is in integrating knowledge, skills, attitude and intention development in one social entrepreneurship education program.en_US
