dc.description.abstractIndia is a developing economy and still there is a long way to go for India to turn it into a developed nation, which needs fresh entrepreneurs to fuel in the Indian economy. Entrepreneurs are the building blocks of micro and small enterprises (MSE). Globally, the micro and small enterprises (MSEs) are considered as the engine of economic growth and, MSEs constitute over 90% of total enterprises in most of the economies. MSEs have the highest rates of employment growth that too at low capital cost. Keeping in view the importance of entrepreneurship, this study tries to explore the determinants of Entrepreneurial intention amongst the students of Atal Bihari Vajpayee- Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior (M.P.), India. This study also identifies and compares the factors of entrepreneurial intention between Management graduates and Engineering graduates. With the help descriptive analysis of data collected from the 104 final year management and engineering students, it was found that, gender and educational stream puts a significant impact on the entrepreneurial intention of the students. From factor analysis we analyzed that there are eight factors which are driving entrepreneurial intention amongst both management and engineering students, but order of impact of these factors varies significantly in both the streams. This study will help the educational institutes and Government to formulate strategies in accordance to these factors so as to promote effective Entrepreneurship endeavors in future.en_US
