dc.description.abstract | India has the largest attentiveness of rural population then any other country of the world. Assam is endowed with vast natural and human resources but we have failed to utilize all the natural and human resources properly due to the lack of latest technology skills, training and Information. There are tremendous prospects of Cane and Bamboo based small scale industries in the entire northeast region. The production of different items for both domestic and commercial purposes has been continuing in this region from time immemorial. But due to ignorance of Modern Technologies and lack of management, motivation of the artisans, these viable and economically benefited affluence has been contributing very marginally to the economy. The traditionally made Cane and Bamboo products are gradually Hammered by the Industrialization, and therefore it is the need of the day to change the conventional methods by modern high productive innovations, so that per unit production cost will fall and per labour productivity will increase. Because of the emergence of modern technology in this sector it is the time to adopt a new vision to create new entrepreneurs in the field of rural based small scale industries as like as Cane and Bamboo products which are eco friendly, bio-degradable and sustainable. It is an important factor to solve the unemployment problem of Assam which is confronted to us as a burning problem as the government also failed to maintain this problems in the proper scenario. It is important to introduce latest improved craft technology to village traditional common artisans. so that diversified products and value addition is possible. This will not only promote production and income of the stake holders but also attract rural youths to become an proper Entrepreneur in the field of Cane and Bamboo. Therefore, this paper will highlight the prospects of Cane and Bamboo entrepreneurs to solve unemployment problems of Assam. | en_US |
