Abstract

Sunil Shukla, Director of Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Ahmedabad, is a dis inguished entrepreneurship educator, researcher and institution-builder. His pioneering work and research studies in entrepreneurship have been successfully adapted in the form of modules, programs and developmental interventions, to ensure sustainable results for various target groups, including; students, faculty members, executives, bankers, managers, family business successors, administrators and business counsellors. Dr. Shukla leads the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) India team. He has worked with prominent international agencies on important projects. Widely travelled, Dr. Shukla has also been well recognized for highlighting the dimensions of Indian entrepreneurship, on the international entrepreneurship map. Several organizations and Ministries of the Government have him on their Governing Board and are thus benefitting from his experiences and insight.
