The study pointed out the various dimensions of women entrepreneurs in the era of globalization. As a consequence of globalization, liberalization and privatization, the scope of business activities and the scope of competition is widened. At the same time, women entrepreneurs have to face new challenges as well as be well equipped with new, modern equipments as qualities, knowledge of technology, etc. The living standard of women has become higher with the enhancing education facilities, changing social attitude, increasing awareness about women's right and increasing self confidence in women. The woman in the era of globalization is a super woman. She is no more a doormat or a docile woman as she used to be in the male chauvinistic society. She gets more exposure and more liberty as compared to the woman in the past. The status of the Indian Woman is rapidly changing in the post-independence times due to many factors like rapid industrialization and urbanization, and educational facilities to women. There are changes in standards of behavior and values, yet the ancient traditions wherein women are concerned are not altogether lost.
