Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of financing provision on the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) firm performance in Nigeria. The influence of Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) on aspects of the economies cannot be ignored as it continues to be one of the most examined topics in the literature. It has been distinguished among the nations that the linchpin of the economic development and growth is SMEs; likewise it serves as the engine for advancing stable development. Financing provision is the soul of any firm enabling it to grow, generate more output and wealth and job creation. Without it SMEs cannot have a competitive advantage, expand or be innovative and technologically sophisticated. Particularly for big systems, prior surveys are on view that financing provision influence organizational performance. Notwithstanding the subject has been generally studied, mainly wanting from this body of literature is zero in on small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria. The main importance of this subject is the study of the influence of sources of financing provision for the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) firm performance in Nigeria.
