dc.description.abstract | Entrepreneurship development amongst technocrats has been an effective mechanism of luminous renaissance in technology innovations, helpful in the removal of regional imbalance and sustainable growth of MSMEs. An engineer, through entrepreneurship as a career, can bring about a technical changes that can meet the challenges of technological obsolescence, globalisation and liberalisation, with a key to protection. This paper discusses the status of technical entrepreneurship development amongst engineers, the advantage of engineer as entrepreneur, the contribution of MSME and the role of technical institutions / universities in the growth of MSMEs. It also discusses the evolution, status and mechanism of technology business incubation in India with recommendations promotion of entrepreneurship development activities in technical institutions for better implementation of TBI concept. | en_US |
