Transport by trucks is the corner pillar of supply with goods of all possible kind in many developing countries. But for instance bad road conditions which may have been caused by extreme climatic influences, will lead to a considerable material strain. In particular a comparatively high percentage of injuries. The import of tyres requires payment in foreign currency which is hard to come by, and in such case bottle- necks in the supply are inevitable. This again leads to long, costly standstill periods of highquality equipment, namely the vehicles. This unwelcome situation can be helped by the implementation of a tyre-repair workshop. All the work to be done there, is easily picked up by those who have interest and skill, but nevertheless it must be performed with utter care, since the safety of a vehicle largely depends on the quality of its tyres.en_US
