In tropical and suptropical countries the matchete is one of the indispensable tools. Its uses in agriculture are manifold. Owing to the quality of their parts (high-carbon tool steel, wooden handles, double fixture with steel rivets), the matchetes have an unusually long lifetime in spite of the rough work they are used for. And there are some more advantages to the production of these matchetes: durable and sharp edges, tough as steel, but highly flexible.en_US
