Report on Growth Programme for Established Entrepreneurs in Small Scale Sector at Pune

Abstract

The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI) under the sponsorship of Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung (FNSt) , Germany, has organised a Growth Programme in Pune for established entrepreneurs in small-scale sector. Systematic and sustainable growth being the result of planned efforts on the part of the entrepreneurs. providing them help in the form of training and counselling could hasten the pace of their growth process. Hence this programme which helped small-scale entrepreneurs in chalking out a clear-cut growth plan with active support from business counsellors who were also trained by EDI. The training programme equipped them with knowledge, information and skills in key functional areas of small enterprise development and also made them aware of individual level of entrepreneurial competencies which contributes towards top performance. In pune, this programme was organised in association with Maharashtra Industrial and Technical Consultancy Organisation Ltd. (MITCON).
