Abstract: | I. Product and its uses Chain ii an important component of bicycle. It connects the chain wheel and the freewheel for transmission of drive with the help of pedals. It consists of 110 links. (Reserved list S. No.: 693). II. Market Potential Since, bicycle is a common mode of conveyance for the general public, the chain gets worn out and it needs replacement. The bicycle manufacturers also purchase the chain as brought out component and there is good demand in the replacement market. As the number of bicycles is increasing day by day, there is scope for setting up units for the manufacture of bicycle chain in all the states in the country. |
