I. Product and its uses Hacksaw frames are used for holding the metal cutting hacksaw blades. Hacksaw is an elementary tool used by every engineering workshop, industry, repair & maintenance shops, training institutions etc. There are three main types of frames in use viz., (i) frame with aluminium cast handles & frames of M. S. tubing, (ii) hacksaw frames made out of M. S. tubing, (iii) frame made out of M. S. Strip and wooden handles. The frames, out of M. S. strips, are of low prices and are thus most commonly used. n. Market Potential The Indian engineering industry is growing and it is anticipated that the demand for hacksaw frames will also increase in coming years. There is also considerable export potential for this item.
