Abstract

I. Product and its uses Mudguards are made of steel sheets and are used to guard the upper portion of the front and rear wheels of the cycle. It is also used to avoid splashing of water and dust on the cyclist while riding on the cycle. (Reserved List Sr. No. 714). II. Market Potential The major demand for bicycle mudguard is from the bicycle manufacturers and assemblers: As regards replacement market, its demand is rather poor. However, the cycle manufacturing units who are concentrated in Punjab, Haryana, West Bengal, Bombay, Madras etc. can be contacted for the same. m. Production Target (per annum) This project profile is drawn tor the manufacture of 1,20,000 pairs of mudguard per annum. IV. Basis of PrestlJDptious 300 working days have been taken into account -for the production in a year on single shift basis.
