I. Product and its uses Planemeter is a mathematical instrument for measuring the area of any plane figure to a high degree of accuracy. n. Market Potential Due to the rapid growth of activities for measuring various plane areas, particularly in the field of survey work the demand of planemeter is coming up rapidly. Besides its extensive use by surveyors, it is also used by laboratories for determining areas limited by diagram line and different institutions. In view of the above fact, the market potential of this item is increasing day by day. m. Production Target (per annum) The project has got a target for manufacturin~ 1800 planemeter per year, based on single shift operation and on average 25 working days per month, taking into account of the capacity of area to be measured by planemeter as 600 sq. em.
