Abstract: I. Product and i1s use Eyelets are mainly used in shoes, boots, stationery items viz. files etc. and tarpaulin upholstery etc. The eyelet is a metallic component fitted in a hole to protect the hole from tearing the material when the shoe lace or file tag is tightened. These are generally manufactured from 32 SWG to 24 SWG strips of brass. steel and aluminium. II. Market Potential There is enough scope for this item due to applicability in various manufacturing/assembly processes. With the quality standards if adhered to, there is no problem of sale in India" markets.
