Abstract

I. Product and its use Welded wire Mesh is the latest development in wire & wire product industry. The welded wire, generally called reinforcing wire, is mostly used in cement concrete work for construction of buildings, National High way pavement, runways, dams, airports etc. It is also used for fencing purposes and for partition walls and as a safety guard in engineering workshop. Wire of 3 to 8 mm dia. are electrically welded to make a mesh of 1 meter to 2t meter width and 50 to 100 m length. II. Market Potential Welded wire mesh is u ed extensively in constructional work and for fencing purpose. The wire mesh is made by automatic welding process, thus saving a lot of human labour and achieving uniformity in distances and quality.
