Abstract: Entrepreneurial intention (EI) is one of the important and foremost causal factors to the development of entrepreneurship. In the current scenario when the government of India is actively promoting innovation, skill and entrepreneurship to drive economy forward and allocating huge funds for the cause, it becomes all more imperative to scrutinize and contribute in the arena. Initiatives are being taken through various schemes that link university, industries and various skill development programmes and workshops to impart required knowledge & hands-on skill to encourage students to take up entrepreneurship as their career. Jamia Millia Islamia - an Indian Central University is actively supporting these initiatives. This paper is an attempt to confirm the factors that lead to Entrepreneurial Intention of the students in response of mentioned efforts and initiatives. A sample of 120 students has been drawn from the university and Confirmatory factor analysis and Structural Equation Modeling is used to analyze the data
