dc.description.abstract | The study was conducted among start-up entrepreneurs of Kerala. The objective was to find out how the entrepreneurial competencies influence entrepreneurial success. The study had dependent variable as entrepreneurial success (Cherukara & Manalel, 2016) and independent variables as the entrepreneurial traits (Mansefield, et al, 1987). According to Cherukara & Manalel (2016) entrepreneurial success is constituted by economic success, marketing success, success in meeting obligations organisational success and psycho-socio satisfaction. Mansefield, et al, (1987) established 13 personality traits determining entrepreneurial success. The data was collected using a tool developed by combining the tools of Cherukara & Manalel (2016) and Mansefield, et al, (1987). The data was analysed using SPSS for Factor Analysis and Warp PLS for model development. The current study found that the dependant variables, Financial, marketing success and Social Success were significant. It was also found that the independent variables (1) Sees and Acts on Opportunities, (2) Persistence, (3) Information Seeking, (4) Concern for High Quality of Work, (5) Commitment to Work Contract, (6) Systematic Planning, (7) Persuasion, and (8) Use of Influence Strategies were found significant. | en_US |
