Abstract: Dr. Boppana Satyanarayana Rao (B.S.Rao) and his wife Dr. Jhansi Lakshmi Bai, are the doctors became famous edupreneurs in Andhra Pradesh (AP). Both Dr. B. S. Rao and his wife studied Medicine at the Guntur Medical College. He completed MRSH from UK and practiced in England for a few years and moved to Iran. With an urge to make the academic lives of the children of Andhra Pradesh (AP) better, he returned back to his home state and started Sri Chaitanya Girls Junior College in Poranki, near Vijayawada in 1986 with a modest strength of 86.In the initial batch itself 40 girls got good rank in APEAMCET and secured medical seats in good medical colleges in AP. The innovative practices adopted by Dr. B.S.Rao for the last 30 years has made Sri Chaitanya group of institutions as the single largest educational institution in Asia at the Intermediate (+2) level. This Group entered into School segment by starting Sri Chaitanya Techno Schools in the various districts of AP in the year 2008.He started special institutes meant for coaching the students to CA and IAS related exams along with regular Intermediate education and for IAS additional coaching of 3 years Degree plus one year will be given. By the year 2015, the student strength has crossed to more than 5, 00,000 and with an annual turnover of about Rs 2000 crores and catering to the needs of (KG to 12th standard) and spread over to different locations in A.P and other states. The Chaitanya Group is providing direct employment to 35000 people (includes 15000 teaching) and indirect employment to 5000 people.
