Abstract: Entrepreneurship in Indian society is slowly and steadily gaining momentum. Many young professionals out of college not necessarily coming from business family background are considering entrepreneurship as a career option. In a global world of today where wealth can be created by one country using the resources of another and sharing by all across the world. The networked world is offering great opportunities for young, talented and motivated professionals who are in large numbers in our professional colleges to generate /use business ideas from anywhere across the globe to set up their enterprise. Young pool of professionals found in large numbers in our professional colleges across the country can be motivated to become successful entrepreneurs through various programmes, initiated by different organizations associated with development of entrepreneurship. The present paper attempts to explore the option of apprenticeship for students who are motivated to become future entrepreneurs, in the final semester of their course in our engineering & management institutes.
