Manufacturing Unit of Hollow & Dense Cement Concrete Blocks

Abstract

IWith the increase in cost of traditional construction material, research and development of alternative forms of construction material, which is economically viable and of same quality and durability as traditional material, is being carried out. In the series, hollow and dense cement concrete blocks known as hollow, blocks, have been developed as an alternative to bricks. The hollow blocks are, made of cement; stone chips, stone dust and sand are not only cheaper than i iconventlonal bricks but have other specialties as well. These blocks have more tensile strength, the walls constructed from these blocks act as thermal .msutators because of their hollowness, which also make them heat and cold resistant. These blocks find wide applicability and construction cost is largely Ireduced. About Kip 4000 is saved per sq ft of construction cost, using hollow 'blocks as compared to traditional bricks.
