dc.description.abstract | Anvil is a heavy block made of steel casting or cast-iron, and kept in blacksmithy & mechanical workshops for light forging work. The small anvils may be kept on a frame made steel angle sections, but the heavier ones are kept on ground. The heated part, to be hand forged, is kept on tile anvil and hammered.
