| Abstract: | Steering wheels are used in automobiles like cars, trucks, tractors etc. This is a very important item of automobile fitted in the assembly of steering column. The wheel is madeup of alloy steel ring core of sizes from 6 mm to 10 mm with spokes welded on the ring frame. The fabricated steering wheel ring is subsequently covered with hard rubber by compression moulding in hydraulic Press. After painting and baking, the steering wheel is ready for use. As there are different sizes of steering wheels, different sizes of dies are used for the manufacturing process. ' |
