dc.description.abstract | Indian economy is undergoing a restructuring through a change in the economic policies. In this paper we shall explore the probable consequences this restructuring may bring in the agricultural sector and the role of entrepreneurship development in that context. The paper consists of four sections. Tracing the evolution of agriculture, it has been argued in Section I that agriculture is in the process of becoming industrial activity. Section II shows that the recent opening up of Indian economy to the foreign corporatisation of Indian agriculture. Section III discusses the probable impact of such change in agriculture. And finally Section IV argues that innovative entrepreneurship development is an way out to tackle the profound change which is imminent in India agriculture. | en_US |
