Abstract: Economic restructuring in India presents opportunities, threats and made Indian industries and entrepreneur, particularly small and medium industry to face competition from multinationals. Environment in market demands quality at reasonable cost. after sales service, spare parts available easily at lower cost etc. This situation forces industry to think of technological innovations to compete with situation, Quality concept induced right from design, and then this will reduce cost. Afford and time for developing any product for survival of small and medium industries knowledge of quality parameters can help to get good market. Customer requirement must be satisfied for a product to succeed in the market. Evaluation of vital design parameters can lead to customer satisfaction, It is important to find out list of design parameters and select which are vital I'm customer satisfaction and improves quality of product.
