N ... Creating New Paths Over the years, Entrepreneurship, as a discipline, has registered many breakthroughs. It has emerged and has been accepted as a force that ensures diffusion of innovation and out-of-the-box thinking, in society, resulting in economic growth. Most developing economies have employed a number of development pursuits and have gradually come to realize the significance of entrepreneurship in their policies and strategies. However, most of the time due to limited orientation to entrepreneurship and lack of training prospects, good entrepreneurial opportunities go unperceived. However, in order to remain ahead, a country has to hold on to the reins of entrepreneurial dynamism. EDIIhas been promoting entrepreneurship for over thirty years through training, research, education and institution building. It's task of institution building acquires significance in the face of strengthening entrepreneurship on foreign lands. Many a nation today sport an ED institution committed to promoting entrepreneurship. Growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in these countries is commendable. The role of MSMEs in economic development and employment generation is proved beyond doubt and every developing economy is now opening its doors to entrepreneurs with viable business ideas. However, the right atmosphere, conducive to growth and development is a must.en_US
